Woohoo! I was on Television

So now my foray into multimedia is almost complete. I've been on the radio, I have a presence on the web, and last night I was on the channel 4 news.

OK, so it had nothing to do with politics, it wasn't pre-planned, and I was just preparing to stuff my face at the Greek Festival. And to top it off, I didn't know about the appearance until someone told me that they saw me on the news last night.

Nevertheless, how many other LD candidates were on television in the past week?

By the way, if you don't have any plans this weekend, you should really do the Greek Festival.

Thanks for the reminder about the Greekfest, Framer. It is nearby and we still have yet to go. I hear it is a smashing event!

There are many ways to get on television. You have chosen one of the more benign.

I've been as an extra on Tombstone, Jericho Fever, and in the SAIAT AD. It's not playing anymore.

Many thanks for the link Framer. Have a great time at the Greek Festival, and do dance some syrtaki. Oh, and enjoy a shot of ouzo!

Best wishes for a great weekeend, from Athens, Greece!

My favorite dishes are the flaming saganaki cheese and the spinach pastry item (the name escapes me.)

And from what I could tell the Orthodox Priest (I assume he was a priest)was the best dancer. He was darn impressive.

And X4MR, if you were in Tombstone, you may as well quit there because that is one of the better movies ever made.

Yep, Framer, was there, in the flesh.

Met Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn, Dana Delaney. Bill Paxton was terrific. Val Kilmer may be an awesome actor, but he's a bit of a jerk.

You know who is really cool? Billy Zane. I got into a conversation with him. Neat guy.

The director was an asshole, a real mean spirited jerk.
