I Think I'll Continue to Wear my Flag Pin

If it is all the same to you Obama.

It's quite possible that Obama was simply unaware that the pledge was going on, but based on previous comments, I'm not sure that he will get the benefit of the doubt.

Barack Hussein Obama has sworn his allegiance to Allah.

Why would you expect him to pledge allegiance to the Great Satan’s Flag, let alone wear one?

Obama isn't Muslim, as any quick Google search will tell you. Try another smear.

I don't put a hand over my heart during the pledge either, but rather stand at respectful attention. It's not unusual.

Framer,
Quite frankly, I believe that the first comment above by anonymous is so offensive that it should be deleted. It's your blog, of course.

Anonymous, whoever you are, you are subhuman trash. A vile, hateful, and probably very ugly and old white man. The National Alliance has a website. Go find your friends.

Delete my comment too, Framer.

Liza said...

Anon,
I did the work for you.

Here's the website for the National Alliance.

There's no need for a hate-filled racist to be lonely.

What's offensive? I was stating fact.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. Mitigating that information, by saying that for two years, he attended a Catholic school.

Obama's father, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was a radical Muslim who migrated from Kenya to Jakarta, Indonesia. He met Obama's mother, Ann Dunham?at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Obama's spin- meisters are now attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam, came from his father and that influence was only temporary, which is true. Obama Sr. returned to Kenya immediately following the divorce and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. But,

Lolo Soetoro, Ann Dunham's second husband, educated his stepson Barack Hussein Obama, as a good Muslim by enrolling him in one of Jakarta's Wahabbi schools.

Wahabbism is the radical teaching that created the Muslim terrorists, who are now waging Jihad on the industrialized world. Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when you are seeking political office in the United States, Obama joined the United Church of Christ, to help purge any notion that he is still a Muslim.

Sirocco said...

Anon,

Obama's father was raised Muslim. By all accounts, at the time Barack was born is father was essentially non-religious.

Obama's mother is not, and has never been, Muslim.

The claim the schools Obama attended in childhood were "radically Islamist" has been thoroughly debunked.

Obama self-identifies as Christian, has been baptized, and has apparently attended a Christian church for some time.

You, on the other hand, apparently like to pass off unsubstantiated tripe as fact. Every claim you make regarding Obama has been debunked at a number of locations, including this one.

Sirocco said...

I didn't include this in the above post, because I thought I'd leave it for people to discover for themselves on clicking through my link ... after thinking about it, though, I decided it's worth mentioning here directly.

Nearly the entire body of your second post above is lifted straight from the anti-Obama email which circulated last year, and which the Snopes link I provided thoroughly shoots down.

Apparently, you can't even come up with original wording for your tripe.

If for just one day I could walk around in the body of let's say someone like Shaquille O'Neill, I would spend the whole day kicking the sh** out of people like you, anonymous.

Sirocco, they all say the same thing. Racism requires no brains and no originality.

Anonymous said...

hahahahahah I don't mean to laugh at what was a serious point, Liza. First off, you kick ASS.

The Shaquille O'Neill ass-kicking part just made me spit out my milk.

Just to add my outrage...who gives a rats ass whether someone is muslim or not? These kind of comments are the kind that this President's new war on Islam seems to engender. OH...thats right...not those modern, moderate Islamists, but the kind that just don't like us....THEYRE extreme.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Roger, perhaps you don't find sawing off the heads of captured prisoners, or targeting weddings is extreme then I fear you have a serious problem with context.

I don't know if Barrack is Muslim or not, but he articulates policies that are, at best dangerously childish.

At first I thought the flag pin "scandal" was overblown, but it appears that Barrack's studied refusal to salute or honor the flag bespeaks a more intense hostility to the nation that he wants to lead.

Having said that, the Love Shaq/ass kicking comment is priceless.

The nominations will go to Hillary and Giuliani. Obama brings out the xenophobes and racists, and Hillary brings out all sorts of creatures.

Issues like the pin cause people lacking substance to howl and foam at the mouth because discussions requiring a command of facts and well reasoned arguments are beyond them.

The vitriol after Hillary gets the nod will be quite a show.

Framer said...

x4mr,

I love you, but you have a short leash when it comes to pointing out howling, foaming, and vitriol.

Watch this:

"Look X4MR, CHENEY!!!"

Go! :)

And I don't believe Obama is a Muslim, or at least an extremist Muslim. I do believe he is an incredibly weak candidate with nothing to recommend him for the office. I suspect all of the "flag issues" are his way of sneaking behind the woodshed to say "hell" and "damn" and perhaps put an unlit cigarette in his mouth to show everybody how deep and cool he is. Its actually pretty pathetic.

The minute that Obama does or introduces anything of substance, then it will be easier to deal substantively with him. So far he appears to be the "Entertainment Weekly" candidate.

I'll say this however, he is heads and tails a better candidate than John Edwards.

Oh my God, I actually agree with x4mr.

Obama is toast and the Hildabeast will get the nod. The Dems have no choice. If Obama were to win he'd go down in flames against a Rudy or a Romney. Not because of the xenophobes and racists but because the guy simply isn't qualified yet to be President.

If Barack were smart (and he is) I bet he runs for Governor of Illinois in the not too distant future so he can claim "executive experience."

Inexperience is also Hillary's weakness, and again x4mr is right. After she officially gets the nod all hell will break loose. You thought the Swift Boat Vets were a pain for John Kerry???

Holy cow, wait until the Rose Law Firm Lawyers for Truth or the Chinese Laundry folders for Truth
get going.

x4mr said...

Framer,

Haaagh!!! Huwaaaaggh!!!

Love you, too.

Obama is NOT READY, and he will NOT win the nomination. If you want a GOP president, you should pray for an Obama nod, but don't bother, you are not going to get it. Rudy would beat Obama.

Hillary's got it, and only Rudy stands a chance. If smart, the GOP will give him a shot. If stupid, the GOP will put one of the others up and watch a painful ass-whooping that will energize the ladies as never before.

The Democratic nomination will go to Hillary unless something major occurs to change the political landscape.

Duke, Hillary is not inexperienced. She and Bill have over thirty years of political campaigning behind them and neither one is a stranger to vicious political attacks. I suspect that Hillary, Inc. knows exactly what's coming and they will give as good as they get, as usual. Remember Hillary's first race for the Senate? The Lewinsky scandal, bad for Bill, became political capital for Hillary. The wronged woman who would stand by her vows, etc...

I'm sure that the right is more than ready for Hillary and will take negative campaigning to a new level. She'll win anyhow.

Hillary has what no other candidate has and that is a popular ex-President for a husband who will campaign for her and support her. And, if you haven't heard, Hillary, Inc. is starting to roll out the plan. The discussion about "what big job there will be for Bill" is well underway.

The whole thing is going to come together like those fires that merged in southern California and it will roll over the nation in much the same way.

liza,
You’re right; Hill and Bill are very adept at the politics of manipulation and cover-up. Hillary wrote the book on dealing with getting dirt to destroy one’s enemies, especially enemies of Bill. Clinton Inc. was able to bury illegal campaign contribution scandals, corruption scandals; bad land deals and cattle futures investment scams. Hill was a pro at destroying the credibility of women who claimed to have been raped or sexually assaulted by Bill and became a pro at handling the fall out from the Bimbo eruptions. There is no doubt she’ll be able to expertly shake off any dirt the GOP can dig up on her.

But I wasn't talking about political experience I was talking about chief executive experience. Hillary hasn't run much more in her life other than her own household, which I think she subs out to a management company. She hasn’t run a business, a city, a county, a state, or anything other than the lives of her immediate staff.

Bill, contrary to popular belief isn't going to be much of a help to Hillary at 1600 PA Ave. Yeah from time to time he could chime in with some advice, but he won't be sitting in every cabinet meeting and he sure won't be in any National Security Council meetings. She'll have to swim solo.

Deep down inside I'm rooting for a Hillary win in both the primary and a general. As soon as she gets in and starts tinkering with the tax code, screwing up the economy, spending money on Super SCHIP, Hillary Care and allows another terrorist hit on us it will be decades before another democrat, let alone another woman, ever graces the seat in the oval office.

Liza,

Brilliant post. That is exactly what is going to happen.

Duke,

Sorry. Her presidency will not be the left wing manifesto you think. As Liza has noted on several occasions, Hillary will not veer to the left in the way some expect. Also, I think Bill will play a huge role in international affairs. He has to repair all of the relationships ruined by the eggplant.

Framer,
I'm still chuckling about your Cheney remark.

Anonymous said...

x4mr,
I think Bill will play a huge role in foreign affairs as well. He's also really good at domestic affairs. He had about 30 while the Governor of Arkansas and what? Maybe 5 while in the White House?

Now that he doesn't have any real responsibility, he'll have a lot of time to conduct hundreds of “foreign affairs.” He'll probably have a diplomatic mission in every port.

I bet you that Hillary still regrets giving him that box of Macanudo's for Christmas in '94.

Heh ... if my choice is between someone who can't keep it in his pants and someone who starts unnecessary wars that get 10's of thousands killed and wounded ... well, I'll take the former.

Fortunately, my choice in 2008 is actually going to be between the person who was cheated on, not the cheater, and likely a despotic, tyrannical, sort-tempered egomaniac (Giuliani in this case, not Cheney) ... which makes for an easy choice again.

duke,
Bill will be in his 60's for the duration of the co-presidency. All they have to do is keep hiding his Viagra.

Have you guys heard about this? It is from today's broadcast of "Democracy Now:"

""In campaign news, Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is facing a controversy after he twice referred to Osama bin Laden as Barack Obama. Speaking Tuesday in South Carolina, Romney was addressing Democratic hopeful John Edwards’ claim that the “war on terror” has been a “bumper sticker” for the Bush administration.

Mitt Romney: “Just look at what Osama - Barack Obama - said just yesterday. Barack Obama, calling on radicals, jihadists of all the different types, to come together in Iraq. 'That is the battlefield. That's the central place.’”
In response, Obama’s campaign said: “Apparently, Mitt Romney can switch names just as casually as he switches positions.”"

Anonymous said...

Liza,
Actually, Ted Kennedy beat him to it last year with his "Osama Obama" quote.

Do you have a link to the Romney quote?

Liza said...

It's in the Oct. 25 Headlines toward the bottom.

Yeah, Kennedy seems a little addled sometimes.
