New Mexico governor, Bill Richardson, has announced he is entering the presidential race as one of the Democrat presidential contenders. It will be interesting to see how this shakes up the debate and from whom he will steal support. See details at:

Not exactly a surprise entry, and I guess this is as good a time as any to declare.
didn't Richardson lie on his resume and say that he was drafted by major league baseball and played in the minors?
Yeah, but who among us has never done that? All you have to do is say you belonged to the Brewers organization and nobody will disbelieve you :)
Heh. It was the Royals, not Brewers, but same logic applies. I think he also claimed to have been drafted by the Dodgers at some point.
I don't believe he has ever claimed to have played in the minors.
Myself, I was the starting small forward for the Clippers through much of the 90's. I can safely bet that no one has any visual evidence to claim anything to the contrary.
Uhm ... I played for the Sydney Swans in the 90's.
