Republicans' awe of Gabby's recent conservative shift is not shared by all Democrats. Recent public appearances, tours with GAO accountants, and campaign...er...constituent mailers have been orchestrated to help Gabby paint herself conservative. But Democrats are asking "where's the beef?" They want answers to tough liberal questions and have not been satisfied with surprised staff who felt like deer in the headlights in previous town hall meetings. Gabby has responded by tossing a nice juicy steak to the salivating constituents: an opportunity to discuss impeaching Dick Cheney. Of course, Gabby will excuse herself from the carnage, sending her chief of staff, instead. The poor staffer will be expected to come back with answers demanded at the last town hall meeting in addition to managing the savage crowd of Cheney-haters.
Bloodthirsty types might be interested in attending the meeting Wednesday, February 20th at 7 pm at 3202 E. 1st. Please remember, however, that some scenes may not be suitable for younger viewers.

Wow, that's funny. Where's x4mr to condemn these "giffonators"? Obviously a vast right wing conspiracy.
This would almost be worth the carbon emmissions of burning the gasoline to get there.
Giffords will always be in the unenviable position of trying to show that she faithfully represents a moderate/conservative district despite being a Democrat. She will at times pander to the progressives, but I suspect those occasions will become fewer and fewer if she is re-elected. This may be one of the last times that you see evidence of that pandering.
Yeah that's what we need!
Waste more time "Do nothing Congress" with another witch hunt.
Just like last week when you dropped our drawers to the enemy by not extending FISA even after it received 69-28 bipartisan vote in the Senate.
Dame Nancy has continually demonstrated she doesn't care about national security. Her and Gabby are consumed by political gamesmanship.
Exploiting Franking privileges, lying on national TV, living in denial that the surge isn't working, going after Harriet Miers for refusing to testify (who’s protected under Executive Privilege).
Go ahead waste more time with your political games while our enemies are plotting against us.
You should be leading this country according to the oath you took when you were sworn in. How about doing more than naming Post Offices after yourselves and trying to find out if the guy on 3rd base uses steroids.
Sadly, even this "do nothing" Congress is a vast improvement over the previous "let's give the President everything he wants and ask no questions" Congress. At least this one yelps al ittle before rolling over.

Do you really believe this, or just parroting the line? First of all, FISA didn't need to be extended, because FISA is still in effect. It's the completely unnecessary Protect America Act which wasn't extended.
The reason it's unnecessary is because FISA provides plenty of authority for the administration to get any wiretaps it needs. The only real differe4nce is, under FISA at least, if a wiretapped conversation involves a US citizen who is actually within the US at the time of the conversation, the administration is required to get a warrant from the secret FISA court.
These warrants are almost never denied, and can be requested retroactively, so immediacy is not a problem either.
The only drawers dropped here were the ones covering your apparent ignorance on the subject.
