Several weeks ago, it was rumored that Meg Econ who outraced Ginny Jensen for 1st Vice-chair last December, was resigning from the executive committee. Now that it is official, the executive committee is trying to figure out how to replace her. Some suggest Ginny would be the logical replacement. Others suggest moving everyone up a notch and opening up the bottom slot. Meanwhile, David Jorgenson, previous candidate for state office, has thrown his name in the hat as a possible replacement.
Perhaps a reader with a set of bylaws will enlighten the blogosphere on how the selection should occur.
Tonight was the executive committee meeting. Maybe tomorrow will bring an update.
